CSR Tip of the Week: The Carbon Trust Standard

The Carbon Trust standard was set up in 2008 by the Carbon Trust to award organisations that manage measure and reduce their carbon footprint. The standard sets out a benchmark to which organisations have to reach and succeed to show that they are doing their bit towards climate change.

The Standard specifies requirements in 3 key areas:
1. Carbon footprint measurement
2. Carbon management
3. Carbon reduction performance

Being awarded the Carbon Trust Standard proves to your clients that you are effectively managing and reducing your carbon footprint and with more of an increasingly environmental aware audience will help benefit your business.
