The Global Reporting Initiative provide a framework for writing a sustainability report.

They have developed an Event Organiser Sector Supplement to provide the event industry with a framework for writing a sustainability report.

Why should you be interested? Well this will set the standard framework for writing a report in the event industry and you will be expected to report in the future to demonstrate best practice.
Now is your chance to comment on this framework which will shape our future event industry.

Currently leading event industry practitioners are reporting using the generic GRI framework including Sustainable Events Ltd, Vancouver Olympics and the COP 15.
